Google Drive: Collaboration and Creativity (T, M, I, K S, C)

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Google Drive launched last summer as an online storage for Google docs files as well as any file type. While there are many online (cloud) storage choices, what sets Drive apart is third party collaborative apps like We Video, LucidChart, and SlideRocket that integrate directly with Drive. Most of the apps demonstrated in this session are free (EDU versions) and help promote student collaboration and creativity.

Collaboration is considered by many to play a major role in the future of work and creativity. Drive offers a unique opportunity to enhance collaborative project work as well as advance the possibilities of using just Google docs in your school. You will need a Google apps/docs or Gmail account, a laptop and Google Chrome for the hands-on portion of this session.
